Heavily curled leaves- they make great kale chips

 

Plant into rich and well-draining soil, in full sun.

Brassicas will do best planted in Autumn, Winter, and early Spring.

 

Young plants can be damaged by heavy frosts in winter and bolt in summer heat.

 

Water well for the first few days after planting, and then as needed. Plants will require more water during dry periods.
